Raab Children's Literature Podcasts

Susan Salzman Raab is the CEO of Raab Associates, a children’s literature marketing firm based in Chappaqua, New York.  Ms. Raab is a University of Connecticut Alumna who graduated in 1980 with a degree in English. Raab Associates is the sponsor of the annual Raab Associates Prize for Illustration in partnership with the School of Fine Arts and the Thomas J. Dodd Research Center.  She also serves on the Board for the Center for the Study of Children's Literature and Culture at the University of Florida at Gainesville. She writes the To Market column for the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators and is the author of An Author's Guide to Children's Book Promotion.

Ms. Raab records interviews with prominent members of the world of children’s literature and provides access to them for the NPR program Recess and curriculum materials produced by Scholastic Education. The first interview for the Northeast Children's Literature Collection, with the incomparable David Macaulay, is available below.
